The shelter should be insulated and heated. The outdoor pets require extra calories to keep us warm. We can feed our pets as according to their needs and it depends much on the temperature condition. We should keep the pet outside during the severe cold and inclement weather. The indoor pets should have sleeping quarters in a draft free form. W should keep our pets protected from the sunny days. We should remove the snow and salt from our pets. We can make use of the warm and moist towels to clean the pet animals. The snow removal products should be stored out of the reach of pets and small children as their toxicity varies considerably. The plants and other elements are associated with the winter and we are supposed to consult with the veterinarian about the animal poison control and treatment. We should apply the medicines to them either in the form of tablet or pills or as the syringe. Proper bathing and brushing should be provided for the pets at least twice in a week.
